Female Invest

Female Invest is an EdTech platform and community which, through approachable subscription-based e-learning, empowers millennial and Gen Z women by increasing their understanding of personal finance and investing. Members gain access to an online universe of content, courses, webinars, video tutorials, articles, easy-explainers and live events: all designed to empower women to take control of their finances.

The company was founded in 2019 by Emma Due Bitz, Camilla Falkenberg, and Anna-Sophie Hartvigsen, and inspired by their own experiences of not feeling included in the world of investing. All three co-founders were named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2020 in the finance category, and in the same year, the company was the recipient of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award and the prize of 100,000 USD. The Female Invest community consists of 140,000 thousand people in 89 countries.

2020 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards Presents $100,000 To 7 Entrepreneurs

Seven women entrepreneurs from around the world were named the winners of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards (CWIA) for creating startup businesses that serve as catalysts for change and growth within their communities and the larger society. Each business owner received $100,000 to fund their companies. An additional 14 finalists received a $30,000 award. All totaled, $1.1 million was awarded to the finalists, who are known as fellows.

Cartier Announces Its 2020 Women's Initiative Laureates

The seven laureates will each receive $100,000 to invest in their businesses. 
Seven entrepreneurs have been crowned the laureate winners for Cartier's 2020 Women's Initiative Awards, an international competition that supports women-owned and -led businesses that are driving social change.
